English Language Education

English language education is offered at all TED schools in line with the English language curriculum that sits within the integrity of k12 as a programme proprietary to TED and approved by the Ministry of National Education which has been prepared on the basis of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. “TED k12 English Language Curriculum” is renewed biennially in parallel with the changing circumstances of our day.

English plays an important role in Kindergarten, as most of the students meet English in this age for the first time. A comfortable environment, a professional team, and a rich curriculum add warmth and positivity to this first encounter.

The goal of the English language curriculum is to evoke willingness and interest among children to learn languages in an environment where they are able express themselves in simple terms through creating sympathy and curiosity towards foreign languages.

English training at Kindergarten allows our students to learn by doing and living and to find the opportunity to use the foreign language in natural and varying environments owing to the English activities (Story time, Music and Movement, Fun time, Read and Rhyme, Show and Tell, Arts and Crafts, Creative English) prepared in line with the needs and characteristics of children of these ages.

Our students experience fun English learning encounters throughout the year by reason of colourful visual materials, games, computer-assisted activities, stories, drama work, and projects with the guidance provided by native English teachers .
