Guidance and Counselling

Secondary school is a period of change and transition for our students. Marking the onset of adolescence, this period is a bridge between childhood and young adulthood and experienced with a heightened sensitivity by students. The psychological guidance and counselling programme aims to enable students to adapt to the change they will go through firstly from elementary school to secondary school and then to high school. The individual, emotional and social support we provide in line with our developmental guidance approach not only enables students to adapt to secondary school, but also prepares them for high school.

Students are supported in their road to understanding and managing adolescence, reaching a positive sense of self, and gaining decision-making and problem-solving skills. Our programme enables students to see and overcome the obstacles to their success and focuses on their study habits and self-discipline. Our students obtain information on high school through varying induction activities.

The psychological guidance and counselling department attaches great importance to the health of communication among teachers, parents, and students in this period of adolescent complexity and organises seminars and workshops to inform parents and support the development of students.
